There are some wedding venues that simply take your breath away, and Brympton House is undoubtedly one of them.
Nestled within the Somerset countryside, this historic country house provided the perfect backdrop for Ellie and Connor’s beautiful summer wedding. From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense of excitement throughout the estate as family and friends gathered to celebrate.
With elegant white florals, meaningful personal touches and a wonderful atmosphere from beginning to end, their wedding perfectly showcased everything that makes Brympton House one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the South West.

The day began within the beautiful rooms of Brympton House, where Ellie spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids.
The atmosphere was exactly as she had hoped — relaxed, joyful and full of laughter. With matching pyjamas, music playing and glasses of prosecco being enjoyed throughout the morning, there was a wonderful sense of anticipation as the day unfolded.
Meanwhile, Connor and his groomsmen gathered in the famous snooker room, making the most of the venue’s character-filled interiors before welcoming guests.
One of my favourite aspects of Brympton House is how effortlessly it allows both sides of the wedding party to enjoy the morning together while still having their own dedicated spaces.

The ceremony took place inside the beautiful Castle House, one of Brympton House’s most intimate and romantic spaces.
Soft white florals and natural greenery framed the aisle, creating an elegant setting for the couple’s vows. As Ellie walked down the aisle with her father, accompanied by acoustic music, there was an unmistakable sense of emotion throughout the room.
The ceremony felt personal, heartfelt and incredibly meaningful.
Following the vows, guests were welcomed outside as the newlyweds made their way through a joyful confetti line filled with white rose petals.

Although the weather brought a little rain during parts of the day, a Brympton House wedding never fails to provide beautiful locations for portraits.
The historic stone architecture, elegant staircases, hidden courtyards and formal gardens offered endless opportunities for photographs.
We made the most of the breaks throughout the afternoon to create a collection of natural, relaxed portraits whilst still allowing Ellie and Connor plenty of time to enjoy their guests.
The grounds at Brympton House are truly exceptional and provide a perfect balance of grandeur and intimacy, making every corner feel effortlessly photogenic.

After drinks and canapés, guests gathered for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
The room was filled with laughter as stories were shared and memories relived. From heartfelt moments between family members to bursts of laughter from the bridal party, the speeches perfectly reflected the warmth and personality of the day.
One of the things I loved most about this wedding was how much emphasis Ellie and Connor placed on spending time with their guests. Every part of the timeline was thoughtfully planned to maximise opportunities for conversation, celebration and connection.

As evening approached, guests moved across to The Stables where the celebrations continued.
The atmosphere transformed from elegant country house wedding to energetic party as the band took to the stage and the dance floor quickly filled.
The first dance was followed by an incredible evening of live music, dancing and celebration, with guests making the most of every moment.
From emotional speeches to packed dance floors, the day ended exactly as it began — full of joy, love and unforgettable memories.
