From Engagement Session to Wedding Day at The Manor House, Castle Combe

I first photographed this lovely couple here for their spring engagement session, before returning to The Manor House to photograph their wedding day — both of which you’ll find in this post.

During this session, we spent most of the time simply walking, chatting and enjoying the surroundings. The movement naturally created those relaxed moments that photograph so beautifully.

What to Wear for a Manor House Engagement Session

For couples planning their own engagement shoot, I always recommend keeping outfits simple and timeless.

Soft neutral colours, flowing fabrics and classic silhouettes work beautifully against the warm stone tones of the Cotswolds.

The styling for this session was a perfect example of this approach. The clean lines of the dress and neutral colour palette allowed the beautiful surroundings and genuine connection between the couple to remain the focus of the images.

FROM ENGAGEMENT SESSION TO WEDDING DAY AT THE MANOR HOUSE

I first photographed this couple at The Manor House, Castle Combe for their engagement session, giving us the chance to explore the grounds together ahead of their wedding. When their wedding day arrived, it was wonderful to return to the same venue and photograph the next chapter of their story.

From getting ready in the beautiful interiors to their ceremony, portraits in the gardens and celebrations with their guests, their wedding showed just how much variety The Manor House offers throughout a wedding day.
